Bocadalupa is a partnership between Amy Rose and Jenny Sanderson. We enjoy a collaborative working relationship in which Amy usually takes the perspective of director and Jenny that of performer. But sometimes we perform together, too. We share research, writing and devising tasks. We collaborate with other practitioners depending on the project, including directors, performers, designers and composers. Amy's other credits include five annual large-scale outdoor performances for Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (director), Miren Theatre’s I Wish I Were a Cat, (co-director with John Wright and Brenda Waite), Jungle Book at the Tobacco Factory, (assistant director and puppetry co-ordinator) and Green Ginger’s Rust (production co-ordinator). She has devised and performed puppetry for Welsh National Opera’s award winning production of Queen of Spades (Richard Jones, director). She has performed with Kneehigh Theatre, The Desperate Men and Bread and Puppet Theatre. She toured throughout North America and Europe with her solo street show, Rogue Angel. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in dance and theatre from Hampshire College (USA) and has studied physical theatre with Philippe Gaulier and at Circus Space and is currently pursuing an MA in Theatre Practice at Exeter University. Jenny other performing credits include The Miracle Show and repetoire for Desperate Men, Sci-Circus, Prophesy and Now.Here for Nofit State Circus, Jumpers directed by Bill Alexander (Birmingham Rep.) and the world premiere of The Twits directed by Kathy Leahy at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.
