I was blessed with having a planned home birth that was a wondrous experience. Both my babies were born within four hours and at tea time! My daughter was induced and hauled out with forceps. I felt battered, stitched, and bruised and traumatized. After her birth I fell asleep and when I woke I had to try and find her in the nursery down the corridor. I didn't know which cot she was in. When my son was born naturally at home without intervention I was on such a high that I lay awake for thirteen hours just marveling at him laying beside me.

Both children are beautiful and much loved.
